Confirm you will adhere to the requirements of Cadent’s Code of Conduct. This includes2:

  • Data Protection
  • Protecting the Environment
  • Resilience and Business Continuity
  • Human Rights and Prevention of Slavery and Human Trafficking
  • Conflict Minerals
  • Community and Supplier Diversity
  • Monitoring and Reporting
  • Subcontracting and Supply Chain

Confirm you will comply with the requirements of
Cadent’s other relevant policies:

  • Doing the Right Thing
  • Anti-corruption and Bribery Policy
  • Environment Policy
  • Safety and Wellbeing

Name the individual and provide contact details within your organisation who is accountable for sustainability.

Commit to supporting Cadent’s three pillars of sustainability: Easier Warmth, Fairer Opportunities and Greener Society, and associated activities, aligned to relevant UN Sustainability Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Confirm agreement to joining the Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS). If not a member, commit to signing up, should you be successful.


  1. For any procurement events run through Achilles, Achilles Silver Plus would be required.
  2. The requirement is not to adopt but to confirm you are acting in accordance with these provisions.

External: 

  • Common Assessment Standard evidenced through for example: Constructionline  

Depending on the nature of the services you will be providing, an Achilles B1 Verify audit or Constructionline audit may be required. This will be set out in the procurement documentation.
